Colorida? Excitante? Emocionante? Fofa? Não há palavras suficientes que consiga descrever a sensação de pisar na Galeria Plastik com todas aquelas pinturas e stencils, literalmente, olhando para você. Nina Guémy, a filha de 5 anos de C215 foi a estrela da noite aqui no Brasil enquanto também era a estrela do dia na França, onde mora com a mãe.

Todas as obras foram baseadas em fotos que Christian Guémy tirou dela em momentos de descontração, como comendo batata frita, rindo, fazendo careta ou se equilibrando em um portão. Entre as pinturas havia fotos de grafites e stencils que o artista fez na França, sempre com o foco na pequena Nina.

Tímido e discreto, Christian conversou com todos os presentes. Alguns visitantes prometeram que vão olhar para seus filhos com olhos artísticos, outros trouxeram os seus próprios para ver “a menina do quadro”.

C215 nos faz pensar na relação de pais e filhos na família moderna. Ele mesmo é divorciado e lamenta não ver a sua filha com tanta freqüência e usa suas habilidades artísticas para se sentir em contato permanente com ela.

Nina Guémy, C215’s 5 year-old daughter was the star of the night here in Brazil while also was the star of the day in France, where she lives with her mother.

All the paintings were based in pictures Christian Guémy took of her in pleasant moments, like eating French fries, laughing, making funny faces or balancing next to a gate. There were some framed pictures of stencils and graffitis he did in France exposed with all the other paitings, always focusing on little Nina.

Shy and discrete, Christian chatted with all the visitors. Some of them promised to look at their kids with artistic eyes, while others brought their own children to look at “the girl in the painting”.

C215 makes us think about the relation between parents and sons and daughters in the modern family. He is divorced himself and regrets not being able to see his Nina as much as he wishes to and uses his artistic skills to feel permanently in touch with her.
